His introduction to advertising came early, waking before sunrise to watch the English Premier League and realising the commercials were just as memorable as the matches. That curiosity about storytelling through brands stuck.
A lifelong surfer, Dane has spent years chasing waves around the world, immersing himself in new cultures and landscapes along the way. That curiosity about people and place continues to shape his filmmaking and brings a sense of authenticity and emotional truth to his work. He often balances commercial jobs with non-profit projects.
